May 30, 2013 - The Korea Society Senior Vice President, Dr. Stephen Noerper, speaks to a Brookings Institution gathering on the evolution and scope of South Korea's public diplomacy efforts. He charts the beneficial impacts of the follow-on to Korea's political, economic and business success, Korea's cultural flowering of the last decade, and Korea's branding efforts across public and private sectors. Noerper, author of the 1990s ground-breaking The Tiger's Leap, an examination of Korea's diplomatic rise and shifts in external image, points to the opportunities of and challenges to Korea's enhanced public diplomacy efforts.
